About

Keith's work focuses primarily on photographing lifestyle and editorial content, conferences & events, and a long-term project documenting people at work. His favorite images are the candid photos that capture the complexity of a passing moment.

History

After finishing his Peace Corps service in Kazakhstan in 1999, Keith spent a decade shooting photography part-time while working for the international NGO IREX in the US, Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Georgia.

In 2010, he transitioned from his position as communications director to full-time freelance photographer and spent 27 months traveling throughout 38 countries on three continents, coordinating photo assignments with various NGOs and media organizations.

Since 2013 he has been based in Washington, DC, and is a proud at-large member of the Washington Baltimore Newspaper Guild, Communications Workers of America. In his spare time he enjoys live storytelling, hiking & camping, and far-flung travel.
